Note: Grant of visa and validity & turn around time is consulate discretion.

In case of passport issued in J & K and place of birth is J & K, visa process will take 7-10 working days.

W.e.f. 13th Sept 2012 China consulate in Mumbai will only accept passport issued in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Rest all has to be apply in Delhi Embassy.

Business Visa

• Original Passport valid for 6 months and also require passport copy 1st and last page 2 sets
• Typed Visa form
• 2 Recent Photographs 35mm x 45mm with white background, 80% Face should be seen (Photographs should not be old for more than 6 months)
• Covering letter with applicant name as per passport, Passport Number, Date of Travel, Place of travel with Purpose of travel on the Letter Head addressing to Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai or The Visa Officer, Consulate General of China Mumbai with Company seal.
• Invitation letter from China with applicant name as per passport, Passport Number, Date of Travel, Place of travel with Purpose of travel with clear Chinese seal and signature by Chinese person addressing to Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai
• NOTE: Covering letter and Invitation letter name of applicant should be as per passport.

Tourist Visa

• Original Passport valid for 6 months and also require passport copy 1st and last page 2 sets
• 2 Recent Photographs 35mm x 45mm with white background, 80% Face should be seen (Photographs should not be old for more than 6 months)
• Covering letter Covering letter with Pax name, Passport Number, Date of Travel, Place of travel with Purpose of travel on Letter Head addressing to the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China, Mumbai with Company seal.
• Confirmed ticket
• Personal updated Original Bank Statement with minimum balance of Rs. 1,50,000.00 with Bank Seal and authorised signature
• Hotel Confirmation
• Day-to-day schedule
